How to score 60+ in SBI PO Prelims 2018

SBI PO Prelims 2018 is going to be held in the month of July and most of the aspirants have started the exam preparation. This year SBI has introduced sectional timings which seek an exquisite time management skills to be achieved before the exam. 

SBI PO Exam comprises of three sections with 20 minutes assigned to each section. Proper strategy has to be implemented to get the accuracy and speed to ace the exam. Few tips to score well in the exam are given below depending upon the experience shared by the experienced candidates.

Reasoning Ability
  • This section is very scoring if practiced well. You will be able to attempt the questions with high accuracy and speed.
  • Attempt the questions which are easy to solve than just to take the questions randomly.
  • Solve puzzles and seating arrangement questions after the easy ones and if the question is not within your reach do not waste your time.
  • Attempt at least 25-30 questions in this section.
Quantitative Aptitude
  • Select the questions judiciously to solve with accuracy and speed.
  • At first take questions in which you are good at such as Solve number series, simplification, approximation and quadratic equations.
  • Then you can solve DI., which comprises of 10 questions from DI out of which 5-6 are easy.
  • At last attempt miscellaneous topics but do not stay at a single question for too long.
  • Practice can make you qualify this section therefore attempt at least 25-30 questions in 20 minutes in this section.
English Language
  • English section is very unpredictable if you see last year question paper. It gives a nightmare if you see some new pattern in the exam.
  • Candidates should spend 10-15 minutes in this section and 5 minutes to check the answers to get accuracy level.
  • Solve those questions with the topics in which you are good. Read them properly while attempting.
  • Attempt Reading Comprehension and Para jumbles at the end.
  • Do not make any guesses.
  • Attempt 20+ questions with good accuracy to make a score well. 
During your exam preparation you should practice with sectional tests and full-length mock tests on regular basis. Analyze your mistakes and improve you’re your mistakes.
